Wanted:
Full time Roofing Trainee/Labourer.

Applicants to be punctual, presentable, honest, reliable, hardworking and prepared to take the time to learn the trade. Work involves early starts, heavy physical exercise and agility as well as working at height in all weather at varied locations.

Must be a fluent English speaker, have a full UK driving license and own transport to Cookham SL6 9EE.

Academic qualifications are not mandatory but GCSE (or international equivalent) Maths and English will be an advantage.

Following a probationary period successful candidate will receive full training and work towards NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications at company expense. Typical rates pay for a fully qualified roofer following an average of 5 years training - £150-200 per day depending on experience.

Two failed roofs one on top of the other. The uppermost comprising mostly of shed felt, flashband and Acrypol. None of us could work out why they took the time to neatly ruin the brickwork with primer for the flashband.
Finished roof is a ventilated cold roof with 25yr warranty SIGnature felt and oversized cover flashings thanks to that primer...
