We are pleased to share that our site teams have all successfully completed the CITB SEATS environmental course.

This will now further help them to identify, control and minimise the environmental impacts of their work and where possible identify environmental improvement opportunities aligning with our broader sustainability goals.

We have recently completed design & build tenant enhancement works at one our warehouse sites in Yorkshire.

Our works consisted of;

✅126k sqft Warehouse lighting
✅126k sqft Warehouse fire alarm/detection
✅Data system inclusive of fibre optic cabling & comms cabinets
✅9.5k sqft of CAT B Office works
✅Power & Data to Robotic picking area
✅Forklift charging power

The scheme was delivered to the highest standards and testament to our design, operations and supply chain.

Kameron Mildren our Student Engineer has recently received his results in the Construction and Built Environment course he has been attending for the past 2 years.

Kameron was delighted to learn he achieved a double merit! Well done Kameron!

We launched our Student Engineer Programme 3 years ago and currently have 2 Engineers enrolled.

The programme is structured to give our students exposure and variety by experiencing all our departments, spending 6 months with each all whilst attending college part time.

Following experience across the departments we offer the students the opportunity to choose which role and department they most enjoyed working in and then commit to becoming fully integrated into either, Estimating, Design or Operations.

We understand the importance of investing in the next generation within the industry and giving students the flexibility and choice to decide their role is hugely important.

In addition to this we have also renewed our CHAS accreditation.

Health and Safety of our team and others will always be our number one priority and this news cements our commitment to this.

EBM are expanding! 📢

We are delighted to announce the acquisition of 3,500sqft of office space adjoining our current offices.

As well as additional space for our growing team, we will be creating a state of the art training and conferencing facility, along with a additional break out spaces and a larger gymnasium for the team.

The fit out will utilise the latest and most efficient products, as well as doubling our existing PV system size we will double our EV charging units for our EV and PHEV fleet to further reduce our carbon footprint.

EBM recently had an unforgettable team building day out filled with exciting activities that fostered camaraderie and fun. From navigating through the intricate challenges of the Crystal Maze to engaging in friendly competition at Boom Battle Bar and showcasing their skills at adventure golf, every moment was filled with laughter and shared triumphs.

This memorable experience was made possible thanks to the generous support of BED Electrical Distributors, whose sponsorship contributed immensely to the success of the event. The entire team extends their gratitude to BED Electrical for enabling such an enjoyable and enriching day.

Meet Kaiden Gill…

Kaiden has joined us as Student Electrical Engineer and in what is our first as part of our new trainee scheme.

During his 4 year training plan whilst attending college Kaiden will spend time working within all departments of the business to fully understand what, why and how we do what we do.
Upon completion Kaiden will choose which role he would like to progress with, which will ultimately be based on what he excels in and enjoys the most.

As a business its extremely important for us to invest in the future ensuring we create core members of the EBM team.

We look forward to seeing Kaiden develop and grow with us and will keep you updated on his progress.
