We carried out a crown lift, as well as pruning back some of the larger lower branches to provide a nice overall shape, allow more light to pass through, as well as keeping the tree from encroaching on to the neighbours property 🌳

Before & After photos of a large Willow clear up that we completed today 🌳

The main focus for now was to clear the side that had fallen across the lawn. The plan is to deal with the side in the woods later in the year as it is less of a concern at the minute.

All of the timber has been cut & stacked in the customers barn, ready to be seasoned & split for winter 🔥

It was a real hard slog today in the 35 degree heat but we managed to get the job done 👌🏼

It’s not often you get the chance to climb a tree this size 🌳

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to climb this absolutely enormous London Plane tree today in Barford.

By dropping a 35m rope from the top, we were able to gauge the tree’s height to be roughly 34m (111ft).

In the UK, London Plane trees range between 20m-35m, but it’s not very common (at least in Warwickshire) to see many this size 🌳
