🏗️ Meredith Road – Another Milestone Reached!

More great progress to share from our Meredith Road project!After some seriously challenging off-site connection works, with HV cables seemingly everywhere we turned, were pleased to confirm that the connection is now complete and signed off by Severn Trent Water (STW). ✅

The substructures are also complete, with everything ready for the bricklayers to take over from where weve left off.

A great effort from everyone involved in overcoming the challenges and getting the project to this stage. 👏
On to the next for TDJ Civils! Well be back to put the finishing touches in place once the build has progressed.

Following on from our previous post announcing that we'd secured the Wolverhampton project, it's great to see things progressing well on site!

We've had some challenging ground conditions to contend with along the way, but the team have worked hard to overcome them and keep things moving in the right direction.

With the groundworks well underway, foundations in place and substructure brick and blockwork progressing nicely, it's great to see the site starting to take shape.

Looking forward to seeing the next stages of the build come together!

Another one over the line for a client 👷‍♂️
We were contacted at short notice by a client who desperately needed this concrete access ramp completed to hit their handover date.
From excavation and preparation through to reinforcement, concrete pour and finishing, we managed to turn the job around in just two days and keep their programme moving.
Rookie mistake on our part — we forgot to get the proper “before” photos 🤦‍♂️ — but the progress shots tell most of the story!
Always good when you can step in, solve a problem and take a bit of pressure off the client.
Another job completed and another happy customer. ✅

🏗️ New Project Award – Wolverhampton

TDJ Civils Ltd is proud to announce that we have recently been awarded a new project in Wolverhampton, working with a new client.

The development comprises two new dwellings, with TDJ Civils delivering a comprehensive groundworks and civils package, including:

All drainage works, including the off-site foul connection
Substructures and foundations
Road formation and associated finishing works
Retaining walls
Sprinkler system infrastructure

We’re looking forward to getting underway, building a strong relationship with our new client and delivering another high-quality project from the ground up.

A great addition to our growing portfolio of civil engineering and groundworks projects.

🏗️ PROJECT COMPLETED | STRATFORD-UPON-AVON

A look back at a recently completed project in Stratford-upon-Avon, where the TDJ Civils team carried out the groundworks and external works for a new-build bungalow/apartment extension to an existing care home.

The project involved:

🚧 Demolition of the existing building
🏗️ Excavation and construction of new foundations
🔩 Underpinning and dowel bar work to the existing footings
🌳 Heave protection installed where required due to nearby trees
🧱 Block-and-beam floor with brickwork brought up to DPC
💧 New drainage installed and connected into the existing system
🚶 New access path to the extension
🌱 Ground preparation and freshly laid turf to finish the external areas

From demolition and foundations through to drainage, access and the final landscaping, it’s great to see the transformation from start to finish.

A big transformation on this one. Groundworks and preparation carried out before finishing with a new tarmac surface and block edging.

Out with the old and in with the new! 🔧

A recent project where we ripped out the failing drainage system and installed a brand-new ACO slot drain system, tying it into the existing drainage.

A much cleaner finish and, most importantly, a drainage system that does the job properly. 💪

This one tested us from day one. Unexpected gas mains and high-pressure water mains could’ve brought the job to a standstill, but the team kept pushing forward and working through every challenge safely and efficiently.
