Networking with like-minded business owners and building strong professional relationships is something I've wanted to do for a long time, and it's great to find such a supportive group.

A fresh, bright finish with a bespoke colour detail ✨

We’ve recently completed this open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, giving the space a clean, refreshed look while keeping it practical for everyday living.

The room was fully prepared, with small repairs carried out before decorating, then finished in a fresh white to brighten the space and create a clean, modern feel.

The customer also asked for the window reveals and skirting boards to be painted in a dark blue to match the kitchen cupboards — a lovely feature that ties the whole room together and gives the finish a more personal, considered look.

We also sanded, prepared and re-oiled the real wood kitchen worktops, helping to bring out the natural warmth of the wood while adding protection for daily use.

To finish the job properly, we left the customer with aftercare guidance for both the painted surfaces and the wooden worktops, along with silicone mats to help protect the newly oiled counters.

For us, a good decorating job is not just about how it looks on the day we leave — it is about proper preparation, careful finishing, and helping the work last.

When is a good time to decorate outside?

A lot of people assume exterior decorating is just about finding a sunny day, but the best results usually come when the weather is dry, temperatures are fairly mild, and there is enough time to prepare surfaces properly before painting begins.
