Another example of the importance of electrical safety checks ⚡️

We carried out an EICR after the tenants of this property reported the circuit breaker frequently tripping.

What we soon discovered was that the house only had one socket circuit and they were using multiple air fryers and kitchen appliances at the same time- the circuit breaker was just doing its job- stopping the cable from overheating and causing a fire 🔥

This was how we found the wires- melted together🤦‍♂️

Thankfully it was a modern fuse board with the correct rating circuit breaker- but we’ve found countless oversize breakers and fuse wires in our time which on another day could cause an electrical fire.

So if you haven’t had your electrics checked in a while or ever- think about doing it soon 🤔

Aparantly the previous installer thought just filling the box full of mud for the main earth was enough 🤦‍♂️

Even more worrying is that this has had an electrical report carried out previously with nothing flagged.

When you use an electrician make sure they are qualified and competent.

2025 has been another great year for us with jobs for customers old and new. And we welcomed a new addition to the home solutions family 👶

We will be back to work in the new year but as always will do our best to help in emergencies over the Christmas period ⚡️
