It’s not something you really want in your utility room. The nest ran out of room in the cavity so started building into the room. Nest treated and air vent blocked to prevent wasps entering the house.

Wasp season is now in full swing and nests are starting to get that little bit more aggressive especially to the X men team. We’ve tackled some interesting nests in some very awkward locations but we love a challenge 🐝

Loved seeing these bees hanging from the trees today. Saw about 20 of them in total happily producing their honey high up away from danger. The hot weather here in Cambodia allows them to nest in the open. UK bees prefer some shelter within trees, houses or beehives to protect them from our cold winters and overnight low temperatures.

You may recognise one of the trees from the Tomb Raider film!
