Whilst the temperature drops, the cost of heating homes is rising.

Get the best out of your heating system by following these simple steps.

1. Keep your boiler running through the winter by getting a reputable Gas Safe Engineer to service it.
2. Bleed your radiators every 4-6 months. Small pockets of air get trapped in your central heating system which can lead to cold spots.
3. Ensure that your curtains are tucked behind the radiator to get the heating into the room, and not going out of the house via the windows.
4. Keep doors closed to keep the heat in. Use draught excluders to keep heat in the room.
5. Turn down your heating programmer by 1 degree.- you won't notice the difference, but you will save on fuel.
