It’s been a whirlwind few weeks! ⚡️

We’ve been so busy that we haven't had a spare second to post. Here’s a little snapshot of what we’ve been up to:

🏠 Domestic & Landlord Safety: We’ve been crisscrossing the area carrying out a huge volume of EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) for landlords and home buyers ensuring their properties are safe and compliant.

🔌 Upgrades: Plenty of consumer unit replacements and installing dedicated new circuits to power up air conditioning units just in time for the warmer weather.

🚐 On the Move: Last week took us to New Covent Garden Market! It was a great change of scenery where we carried out various works, including an EICR for a mobile catering van and installing a new 16A supply for a commercial oven.

🚨 Don't ignore the warning signs! 🚨

Here is just a small selection of the lighting faults we were called out to last week. As you can see in the photos, we found everything from severely melted cables to heat-damaged fittings. 📸🔥

Electrical issues rarely "fix themselves"—they usually just get more dangerous. If you notice any of the following, please give us a call:

Following a recent EICR, it was found that the current fuse boards had been badly modified meaning that they were no longer safe continued use.

✅ Old fuse boards removed
✅ RCBO consumer units installed with SPDs
✅ All circuits tested
✅ Certificates issued and building control notified
