It can’t just be me who spends more time searching for a straight bit of timber in the merchants than actually doing the job 😂🪵

I know it’s been a seriously dry summer, but the quality of timber lately has been absolutely shocking.

Half of it looks like it’s been stored around a roundabout! 😂

Throwback to this beautiful natural & neutral bathroom refurbishment in Reigate 🛁✨

Fully stripped out and completely transformed, including new tiling throughout, new shower, toilet, basin, vanity unit and illuminated mirror.

Finished with natural stone-effect tiles and clean, simple fittings to create a warm, relaxing spa-like feel.

Really pleased with how this one came together 👌🏼

Today we were down in Horsham putting right a laminate floor that should never have been left like this. 😳

The customer had already paid another contractor to install it, but the floor had been laid with around 70mm stagger joints throughout the lounge. Not only did it look poor, but it also didn’t follow the manufacturer’s recommended installation pattern.

Thankfully, they called us to strip it back and relay it properly. A floor is only as good as the person fitting it.

Today I’m trying my best to be a “mastic man” 😂

We’ve all seen those videos where they make it look ridiculously easy… so after installing this composite door, I thought I’d have a go myself!

Turns out, it’s not quite as easy as it looks 🤣 but I’d say the finished result was certainly passable!
