📍New valley and roof

After a GRP valley had failed we were instructed to fit a new valley.

We removed the old valley and fitted a new valley using a single ply membrane with a new formed valley taking away the steps that were previously in it with making a more gradual slope.

We also replaced half the roof, the felt membrane and tiles had seen there best days. We fitted a new breathable membrane with new tiles to match the previous extension we had done.

📍 Shower and Toilet block

On this project we took a tired looking room used for a staff room and a storage cupboard. We turned it into a shower and toilet block with 4 electric showers and 4 toilets one being wheelchair accessible.

We used timber clad to give it a natural look from the outside but inside the showers we used hygienic shower room cladding for an easy to clean functional shower room. The floor was fitting with a altro floor with welded joints for a fully waterproof cleanable floor.

After removing a monster of a ivy bush we could finally remove the tin from one side of the roof and tiles off the other half keeping for re use, we cut and pitched a new roof with new purlins and king trusses.

New tiles were fitted to one side of the roof and solar panels fitted while the other side had the old roof tiles, the roof then blends in with other old buildings around the area.

Stonework was built where ivy had damaged the building.

We think from the first photos to the last photos it’s a pretty big transformation.

When our client came to us with ideas of a new staircase to the loft space and a request for a new bathroom we knew what to do… a brand new space saver staircase followed by a brand new bathroom. We can work with the smallest spaces and create an area our clients are incredibly happy with.

A recent bit of painting we’ve done on Cox’s butchers shop in Crediton. Took the letting off from the front and cleaned off, rubbed down woodwork and repaired damaged timbers. Then got the painting done externally and internally. Lettering re fitted and what a difference it has made.
