November seen me kick of my winter work’s season with this pond reinstatement.
This particular pond had been lost to vegetation and hadn’t held water for approximately 50 years. 4 days and a massive amount of silt later and I’d turned the area into two new ponds. I’m currently starting a similar job this week literally around the corner so popped in to see how they were doing. They’ve filled up very nicely.

After pretty much a month off work due to being on paternity leave, I got back in a machine today. The day started with shifting materials to enable me to clear some waste spoil, I then Installed a small section of French drain and finished up the day levelling off the yard area with Type 1 MOT ready for it to be compacted.
