Full strip out back to original timber shell
Insulation added to floor and walls to help with heat and sound
New bath fitted with mains pressured shower
Tiled Floor with underfloor heat mat Pvc ceiling panels Wall's and bath panel fully tile effect wetwall

No need for painter or plasterer on this one

Kitchens and bathrooms seem to be the order of the day this year amongst many other things📝

Although we've had lots on so far this year, extensions/renovations, kitchens, Doors, windows, projections, decking it seems to have been bathrooms that have been the constant in the diary...... we'll share some of these with you over the next few post's.......

First one in crieff was a bathroom/bedroom renovation start of the year, walls moved to allow for bigger shower tray and more activity space

Bedroom flipped round and built in wardrobes fitted🏡📐

Dormer Extension/Renovation No.3 for 2024........... again we've been putting the finishing touches on this Comrie job start of this year

If it feels like there's a hint of Deja-Vu to some of these posts it's because we've carried out 3 similar roof dormer jobs over the last year

Lot's of structural work carried out with steel involved, battling the elements throughout, our 12 x 12 metre lorry tarps coming in handy to keep houses water tight whilst we carry out the work

All 3 with a similar flat roof construction, Sarnfil covering although all 3 with different external finishes

1. Brown Cedral Cement Cladding

2. Slate finish with delicate lead work

3. Horizontal Larch Shiplap Cladding

2024 was certainly the year of the Dormer🙌🏼3🏡✔️

One of our favourite projects to date.... Extension/Renovation carried out in Comrie 2023/2024

Bit of a test for everyone involved from start to finish but both main contractors Dawson & Deacon Joiners & Contractors LTD and the clients delighted with the end result

Note the new larch outriggers, fascias and soffit on gable end of existing house 📐🔨

Renovation and Dormer number 1 of the year completed and handed over early December allowing plenty of time for getting moved back in and settled before Christmas

Been a successful project where we worked closely with the clients to ensure the final product was just what they wanted

Jobs like this certainly keeps us on our toes

Again big thanks to everyone who worked on the project from start to finish 🏠☑️

All steel fitted.... temporary propping inserted and ready to strip the roof

* Both sides fully stripped back too original rafters externally, meaning new:
Sarking/roof felt Black pvc fascias/soffits Black deep flow guttering Counter batten/tile batten/Grey roof tiles Cedral Cement cladding to both Dormers

* Full upstairs renovation, meaning new:
uPVC windows Framing Insulation Plasterboard Doors/finishings Electrical/plumbing works

Clients have a clear vision of what there after

As mentioned previously hopefully roof and cladding finished soon and scaffolding away

Allowing us to push on with inside✏️📐
