MOVE OVER SPICE GIRLS, THIS IS REAL GIRL POWER!
Big lift for women's sport.
With Highland Games season now started and with the build up to this weekend's Blackford Highland Games underway, strength, skill and tradition take centre stage as the Perthshire Women's Heavy Events League announces a powerful new partnership with I. Stewart Plasterers of Crieff.

Dedicated to the iconic Highland Games heavy events- from caber tossing to hammer throwing- the league is going from strength to strength and this sponsorship marks a major boost for women competing in one of Scotland's most historic sporting arenas.
Backed by I. Stewart Plasterers the league is set to expand opportunities for female athletes, increase visibility and continue breaking barriers in a sport long dominated by men.

A spokesperson for the league said, " This is a huge moment for us. Highland Games heavy events are all about power, tradition and community and with I. Stewart Plasterers behind us, we can keep pushing boundaries and inspiring more women to step into the field."
