A year ago, we travelled to Australia as a family to visit our daughter, who was living out of her 4x4 and exploring the country by road.

We joined her for a journey through the Daintree, an extraordinary place where ancient rainforest meets the reef. The sheer scale and diversity of life was breathtaking, from dense rainforest to mangroves, rivers and the Great Barrier Reef.

Experiencing this landscape together was a reminder of how deeply architecture, place and the natural world are connected and how much there is to learn simply by spending time within a landscape.

We’re taking on the Taylor Made Dreams Dragon Boat Racing Challenge this year! 29th August 2026 at Bewl Water 8:30am

Expect high-energy racing, plenty of friendly competition on the lake, and a lot of teamwork (and probably a few sore arms the next day). If you’re around, come down, say hi, and cheer us on!

Most importantly, we’re racing to raise money Taylor-Made Dreams a fantastic charity supporting children with life-limiting illnesses to have the opportunity to make their dreams come true.
