Over the next few days you may see an extra face appear alongside Andy!
Our youngest will be taking part in work shadowing and learning all the aspects of our business and its operations.
Rest assured he will not be wiring anything, running cables or sending out invoices 😂
We all had to start somewhere and I think it’s wonderful to give them such an opportunity, all be it limited due to health and safety.
The clients who have appointments on these days have already been notified and we really appreciate the warm responses to encourage such an opportunity.
We do hope that one day either of our boys would like to follow in their dad’s footsteps, but so far sport is the strongest contender 😉⚽️

This Wednesday marks the 4th year anniversary of Aardwall Security’s Launch 🥳
We are incredibly humbled by the many clients who have entrusted us to look after their security needs, and really value all the kind recommendations and reviews.
We know we wouldn’t be here today without all your support 🥰
So here begins 4 days of celebration 🎉
Monday is starting off strong with some gift cards dropping through some clients doors.
Two Sisters Crowthorne is a wonderful independent cafe who we have the pleasure of supporting.
Offering freshly made food, incredible cakes 🍰 alongside barista coffees and drinks. It is the hub of the high street offering many social activities and support to local entrepreneurs.
So treat yourself and make memories in a warm and welcoming atmosphere ☺️

Whilst not a security post this evening!
We always love to promote other independent businesses! Absolute puppy paradise for any clients with a four legged friend 🐾

This was our first visit to K9 Meadows after being recommended to us by the owner.
Well they have every right to blow their own trumpet 🥰
It is an incredibly well thought out paradise for dogs, designed for maximum comfort and care.
Our pup thoroughly enjoyed every moment and we won’t hesitate to book again.

Ten Golden Rules ✨

If you are a client with a newly installed security alarm, here are our top tips for a smooth transition to your system……

1. Always ensure that the system is used by people who are fully versed in its operation. Please do not share your code with anyone except a trusted relative or friend!
Aardwall Security will never call you to ask for your code over the phone or via email.

2. Confirm that all windows and sensitive doors are closed and locked. Sadly many burglars are opportunistic and even the smallest gap is often enough to take a chance and force entry.

3. Check all automated blinds, curtains and fans are monitored, the motions could be picked up by the sensor and cause an unwanted alarm activation.

4. Please keep the sensors line of sight clear from obstructions, as this may prevent it from detecting an intruder.

5. Make sure you have your keys and tags with you when leaving your property. Do not leave them lying around at home when out.

6. If the exit tone on your keypad sounds different to normal, please check the screen for any information. If you are unsure of anything, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

7. The alarm system deserves the upmost respect, please do not attempt to dismantle the equipment, call or email us and we will advise a solution.

8. Always inform Aardwall of any changes within the property such as an extension or change of doors, this may affect the efficiency of the alarm system.

9. Do not panic should the alarm activate, your code or tag will stop the noise and the keypad will identify the reason. If unsure don’t hesitate to call us.

10. Maintenance visits should be scheduled annually, this ensures the system is performing optimally. If any concerns arise before your visit, please contact us.

Good Afternoon,
Recently we have been approached by quite a few local students asking about work shadowing.
Unfortunately as much as we would love to support this, due to the red tape of health and safety regs, high insurance costs and limitations as to what they can safely take part in, we feel it wouldn’t showcase the whole skill sets they require 😔
This got us thinking, would it be helpful for students or families alike to see videos on here explaining some of the ways we install, monitor and service alarms, cctv and gates! To get an idea of some of the things we do and if it would be of interest in their chosen field. Obviously it would have limitations due to strict privacy of our clients first and foremost. We are always happy to answer any questions, send over further info for courses that support on the job training whilst gaining a qualification!

These four images were taken on an wireless alarm install earlier this week. They display a siren, door contact, pir motion sensor and main control panel.
Each alarm install comes with a year’s warranty, alongside access to the Pyronix cloud app. This allows you to remotely set and unset your alarm and receive notifications if the system should activate.
