Another upgrade completed! 🔨✨

We’ve replaced an old cast iron skylight with a brand new modern PVC Velux window, bringing in so much more natural light and improving insulation at the same time.

The space is now ready for the client to continue with their bathroom renovation — can’t wait to see the finished result! 🛁💡

Busy times across our ongoing projects at the moment! 👷‍♂️🏗️

Our Peebles re-slating project is really starting to come together, with the slates now being laid and the chimneys getting rendered. We’ll soon be moving onto the final phase where the flat roof will be fully renewed.

Our strip and re-slate project in Edinburgh is now fully stripped and ready for new guttering and slating works starting this week.

Our rendering job in Edinburgh has now been stripped at the back and scratch coated, and will be getting a fresh dash applied this week.

We also carried out various emergency repair jobs for our clients at Midlothian Council during the poor weather last week.

The lads have a busy week ahead — keep up the great work team! 💪

🔨 Scotch Strip & Re-Slate – Peebles 🔨

We’ve recently completed a Scotch strip and re-slate to a section of roof on this property in Peebles.

One panel of the roof was carefully stripped back, the existing slates sorted, and any damaged ones replaced before being re-slated to ensure a strong, weather-tight finish. This helps maintain the traditional look of the property while strengthening the affected area.

All work carried out to a high standard, leaving a neat and durable result.

✨ Recent Roof Lantern Installation – Before & After ✨

We’ve recently completed this roof lantern installation, and the before and after photos really show the difference.

The original roof space felt quite dark and closed in. By installing the new roof lantern, we’ve completely transformed the area — allowing much more natural light to flood into the room and creating a brighter, more open feel.

The lantern was carefully fitted to ensure a clean finish inside and out, with attention to detail at every stage of the installation. The end result not only improves the look of the space but also adds a real feature to the home.

✅ Recent Dormer Upgrade

We’ve just finished upgrading this dormer with all new PVC facings.

The old facings were worn and weathered, and the new PVC has given it a clean, fresh look that will last for years with little maintenance.
