A complete roof transformation, from the structural works through to the finished covering.

This project involved a full roof structure replacement, including structural steel ridge beams, bolted connections, engineered pad stones, and a central steel support system to provide a strong and reliable load path.

The new roof structure was constructed using C24 graded 8” × 2” timber joists, incorporating four centre pivot roof windows.

Finished with Crest Planum Duo premium concrete interlocking tiles, alongside quality roofing components and maintenance free systems for a durable, long lasting finish.

🏗️ Full Roof Structure and Covering Replacement 🚧

📍Tholthorpe, North Yorkshire

Another complete roof transformation successfully delivered.

This project involved a full roof structure and covering replacement on a property with an overall span of approximately 17 metres.

The new structural framework was constructed using structural steel ridge beams with bolted steel connections throughout. The steelwork has been installed onto engineered pad stones to provide a suitable bearing surface and ensure effective transfer of structural loads. A central steel T-piece connection transfers the roof loads to a vertical steel support column, which bears onto a horizontal structural steel beam spanning across two load-bearing walls, providing a strong and reliable structural load path.

The new roof structure was then constructed using C24 graded 8” × 2” timber joists, incorporating openings for four centre pivot roof windows.

Finished, using Crest Planum Duo premium concrete interlocking tiles, delivering a modern appearance with long-lasting performance.
