Gainford Project – Final Stages 🏡🔨

We’re coming towards the final stages of our project down at Gainford, and it’s really starting to take shape.

The knock-through is now complete, along with all the insulation and plastering. We’ve also got the mist coat of paint on, giving us a great blank canvas ready for the finishing touches.

There’s just the joinery work, flooring, kitchen and internal doors left to complete before this one is ready to hand over.

Another project nearly over the line — then it’s on to the next one! 💪

A big well done to the lads for all the hard work getting this one to this stage.

Another big milestone reached on our barn conversion project today. 👌

The underfloor heating has now been installed and pressure tested, ready for the screed to be poured on Monday. It’s great to see everything coming together, and we’re one step closer to transforming this old barn into a warm, modern living space.

A big thanks to our current plumber for all his hard work on this project. He’s moving on to a new role from Monday, and we wish him all the very best for the future. 👏

Barn Conversion Progress Update 🏡🔨

We’re making great progress on this stunning barn conversion, transforming it into a beautiful, modern living space while retaining plenty of its original character.

This project will feature:
✔️ 1 spacious bedroom
✔️ Walk-in wardrobe
✔️ Contemporary shower room
✔️ Open-plan kitchen and living area with vaulted ceilings and exposed timber trusses

The internal plastering is now complete, really bringing the space to life and showcasing the incredible character of the original stonework and exposed beams. Next up is the floor screed, and we’ll be sharing more photos as the project continues to take shape.

It’s always rewarding to see these historic buildings given a new lease of life, combining traditional features with modern living.

✅ Job Complete!
Just wrapped up another quality pointing and rendering job with the lads. Fresh render on the lower walls, clean lines, and a proper tidy finish to brighten up this backyard space.
From the old tired look to this fresh, clean result — massive difference! 💪
Proud of the team on this one. Who else needs their exterior walls sorted?

Scaffold’s down at our Gainford project and it’s really starting to take shape! 🏠✨
The new extension is coming together beautifully with the stonework and roof looking sharp. Just waiting on the windows and doors arriving on the 20th, then we’ll be smashing through for the knock-through and really opening it up.

Another flat roof completed by the lads! 👏

This summer room had an old felt roof that had started leaking, so we stripped it back, installed new OSB decking where needed, and finished it with a high-quality one-piece rubber roofing system.

The result? A smart, durable, and completely watertight roof that will protect this summer room from the elements for many years to come. ☔➡️☀️

We’ve taken this old barn and given it a whole new lease of life, converting it into a modern, practical and comfortable living space with additional garage areas.

We’ve been back at a project we completed 18 months ago To take Down the old barns and make them into a usable space. One half of the barn we’ve put back up with cavity walls to make it usable all year round. It’s going to make a family room, office with toilet and shower room.
We are also putting some new patio areas in Indian sandstone. Will put some more pictures up once complete
