🏡 New Project Update | Gainford Extension 🧱

We’ve started work on another exciting extension project in Gainford.

Before any building work could begin, we had a few hurdles to overcome. During the early stages it became clear that the existing garden wall wasn’t suitable to remain in place and needed to be carefully taken down and rebuilt to ensure it was safe, secure, and fit for the future.

With the wall being close to the neighbouring property, a Party Wall Agreement was required before works could proceed — a great example of how even smaller projects can involve important planning, regulations, and preparation behind the scenes.

Now that everything is in place, the lads are cracking on and making great progress on site. 💪

We’ve been back on site to capture the final photos now that this project has been fully completed, signed off with Building Control, and the balcony has been finished to perfection.

It’s been a pleasure to design and build this bespoke triple garage and office space — creating a practical, high-quality addition that not only looks fantastic but makes the most of the incredible surrounding views.

The finished result combines modern functionality with a timeless natural finish, delivering a space that’s built to be enjoyed for years to come.

We’ve been back at a project we completed 18 months ago To take Down the old barns and make them into a usable space. One half of the barn we’ve put back up with cavity walls to make it usable all year round. It’s going to make a family room, office with toilet and shower room.
We are also putting some new patio areas in Indian sandstone. Will put some more pictures up once complete

Re roof we’ve recently done. Current hard row tiles were old/ delaminated and the wrong pitch for the shallow roof causing water to ingress through them. Rotting the laths and causing water ingress on the room below. We’ve stripped, plied, counter battened, double felted and lathed with low pitch tiles back on. New eve combi vent trays and dry verge.
