Behind the Build at New Road, Chatham 🏗️

We're making strong progress at our New Road site in Chatham as we move through key early phases of the development.

✅ Phase 1 enabling works have now been completed, alongside continuous piling works
✅ Successfully demobilised rig from site
✅ Capping beam works are progressing, with the main concrete pour planned shortly
✅ Running ahead of programme, bulk excavations are nearly 50% complete
✅ Started low-level pile mat installations

With this project currently two weeks ahead of schedule, it’s great to see momentum building as we move confidently into the next stages of construction.

Coming Soon...The Fairways at Upchurch ⛳️

We’re excited to share that progress is being made at our newest upcoming development, The Fairways at Upchurch. With the site now cleared and hoarding installed, this marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Callisto Homes.

Located between Rainham and Sittingbourne, the charming village of Upchurch offers peaceful surroundings and rich heritage, a setting we’re excited to bring new family homes to.

Behind the Build at New Road, Chatham 🏗️

With the Party Wall Awards released, we're pleased to announce that our Chatham development is progressing into extensive piling works this week.

This phase required a significant level of coordination and technical detail; including a total of 22 Party Wall Awards, collaboration with four separate structural engineering companies, three different party wall surveyors, and the navigation of complex piling and support design requirements. Along the way, four full redesigns were undertaken to respond to the difficult ground and structural conditions uncovered.

None of this detracted from our enthusiastic and progressive approach. Challenges are part of development, and we remain committed to finding solutions that protect both our neighbours and the integrity of the build.

A huge thank you to our professional teams, including Alan Baxter Ltd Engineering and De Vos Consulting, whose expertise and diligence have been instrumental in reaching this milestone. We’re also grateful to our funding partners HTB for their continued support and understanding while we worked through several months of detailed and highly technical coordination.

Finally, we must mention the previous engineering team back in the 1800's who thought it wise to construct a four-storey adjoining property with no foundations… safe to say, things have moved on a little since then.

With this complex chapter now complete, we look forward to commencing piling works and moving the New Road development into its next phase.

Behind the Build at Dillywood Gardens 🏡

Our team onsite has been busy in the last week 🏗️

Mechanical & electrical works, first-fix carpentry and cladding are all underway, with the installation of underfloor heating bringing the homes to life.

We’ve also carried out road formations and installed clear pedestrian walkways and crossing points, keeping the site clean, safe, and easy to move around.
