Rogue locksmith complaints to the MLA have more than doubled.
We received 600 complaints between January and September 2026, compared with 284 during the same period in 2025 — an increase of 111%.
While increased awareness and reporting may explain some of the rise, the concerns being raised highlight why action is needed.
