Are we really half way into 2026?!

Here's what the JGF team got up to in May...

👏 A big chunk of the team raised money for charity by doing a Jurassic Coastal Ultra! (The donation link is still available for another month to donate - link in bio)
👏 We of course had our 5th apprentice training day of the year
👏 Completed installations of domestic solar jobs (in the sun! 🌞)
👏 Several H&S audits were completed and passed
👏 Many toolbox talks with the team
👏 Growing our team and looking for more electricians to join JGF!!

It's World Environment Day, and THIS is what JGF Electrical do to be kind in the environment...

🌦️ Solar PV installation - We design, install and maintain solar panel and power storage systems for homes, schools, warehouses and commercial properties. Less reliance on the grid. More energy generated on site.

🔌 EV charging points - With the 2030 petrol and diesel ban on the horizon, we are already trained and licensed to install commercial EV charging infrastructure. Helping businesses get ahead, not catch up.

💡 LED lighting upgrades - Switching buildings over to LED isn't just a cost saving, it's a direct reduction in energy consumption. We have done this across schools and commercial sites, shrinking environmental footprint in the process.

♻️ EcoVadis accredited - We hold accreditation, one of the world's most trusted sustainability rating systems. It's not a badge handed out lightly, and it backs up everything above!

👥 Apprentices - Our includes dedicated training in energy efficiency and smart home technology. The people installing tomorrow's green solutions are being trained by us today 🤝

13 years ago, JGF Electrical was a small startup with low overheads and high ambitions. Today, we are a structured, safety driven business!

Early in our journey, we made a conscious decision to move beyond the basics. We invested in:

✅ Professional H&S Support: Building a platform for airtight documentation.
✅ Accreditations: Achieving CHAS and maintaining annual NICEIC inspections.
✅ Training: Ensuring our team is qualified in IOSH, Asbestos awareness, and more.

By investing in these "overheads" we ensured that JGF could take on more complex, high-stake projects while keeping our people safe 🦺

We are incredibly grateful for the team we have today, who help us develop and refine these systems every day. When you work with JGF, you’re working with 13 years of experience and a culture that never has and never will compromise on safety!
