🌳🪵Tree and Stump Removal🪵🌳
Following on from our previous post, here’s the tree in question that ultimately had to be removed due to safety concerns.
Full works completed on this job — the tree was carefully dismantled, the stump professionally ground out, and all logs processed and split. The site was then left clean, tidy, and ready to enjoy again.
Another job completed with safety as the top priority and very happy customers at the end of it 🌳💪

🌳😵 Hidden Faults😵🌳
This stump is a great example of how a co-dominant stem with a tight V-shaped union can seriously compromise a tree’s structural integrity.
Although the tree may have appeared healthy from the outside, these types of unions are a common weak point and can fail without warning. With the tree positioned in a small garden and well within striking distance of nearby property, removal was the safest and most responsible option.
It’s a reminder that trees aren’t always what they seem on the surface. Our expert training allows us to assess not just what’s visible, but the underlying physiological and structural defects — helping to identify potential risks before they become a problem.

⚠️🏗Access and Crane Assistance🏗⚠️
This job proved to be a logistical challenge due to a dispute between landowners, we won't divulge into this. Undeterred, we set that to one side and delivered what we promised to do, but in order to do that we called on the assistance of JD Excavations and Davis Buidling for their Roto magni. Normally we'd ask their help with lifting trees out of tight access locations, but this time we needed to lift our machines in and out so we were able to carry out SHDC approved works in a TPO woodland. Always like a challenge and we deliver!
