🚪 This week at Peak Joinery Ltd has been all about internal doors!

It’s been a busy week with three separate projects and three very happy clients:

✅ Replaced 8 internal doors with white tongue-and-groove primed doors, including fully glazed matching doors to brighten the space.
✅ Upgraded an old, tired door to a beautiful oak glazed door, adding warmth and character.
✅ Finished with 3 solid oak boarded and ledged doors, complete with black waxed tee hinges and Suffolk latches for a traditional look.

From modern to classic, it’s been great to transform these homes with quality joinery and attention to detail.

Another cracking transformation completed this week!

We’ve taken out the old steel garage door and replaced it with a pair of solid hardwood timber doors, finished off with brand-new black uPVC weather boarding to smarten up the whole frontage.

At the same time, we removed a very tired old timber gate and installed a new hardwood side panel and personal gate to match. The upgrade has completely lifted the space — and the client is absolutely thrilled to bits with the final result.

A proper job that’ll last for years. 👌

🚪✨ Out with the old, in with the gradely!

Yesterday we swapped out a very tired garden gate for a brand-new bespoke beauty made from Utile hardwood – built to last and looking smart already!

It’s had its first coat of ebony stain, and once the client’s added a couple more, it’s going to look absolutely stunning!

The best part? The client’s over the moon with how it’s turned out – and so are we! 🙌

Another job successfully completed 👌

We’ve replaced all the old rotten timber fascia boards with black ash UPVC fascias and a new gutter system to freshen things up. The tired Tudor detailing has had a full makeover too — now fitted with composite pre-coloured boards and cream backing panels that look great and need next to no maintenance.

Just a quick wipe down now and again will keep it looking brand new for years to come! ✨

The customer’s over the moon with the result — and we’re pretty chuffed with it too! 😄

🌞 An early start on Bank Holiday Monday at my local church ⛪️

Today’s job: replacing rotten window beads and carrying out some general window repairs to get everything ready for the painters. A bit of TLC to keep the building looking its best for years to come.

Fingers crossed the weather holds out this week – although the forecast isn’t looking too promising! 🌧️⚒️

✨ Another oak staircase transformation completed by Peak Joinery Ltd ✨

The original staircase was poorly built, with lots of movement and creaks. We completely reconfigured it to allow for smoother, safer access. To make life easier for our client, we added a removable glass, handrail and newel post – perfect for moving furniture in and out without hassle.

A brand new boiler/cloak cupboard was also built into the hallway with slim shaker doors, along with matching bespoke doors under the stairs for extra storage space.

The project was beautifully finished by the client with two coats of Osmo oil, enhancing the natural grain of the oak, followed by plastering and decorating to tie everything together.

A lovely project that has completely changed the feel of the hallway!

Farmhouse Staircase Makeover 🪵✨

We’ve just completed this stunning staircase renovation in a lovely farmhouse.

All of the original timbers have been fully lined in solid oak, and we’ve fitted new newel posts, handrails and spindles to bring it right up to date while keeping that rustic charm.

Our client is absolutely chuffed to bits with how it’s turned out – and we can’t wait to see it once the decorator has finished it off with a couple of coats of Osmo oil to really make that oak glow!
