IBProstart IB-Prostart - The choice of Champions Ib-Prostart are producers of RC engine pre heaters. RC nitro engines are designed to have a degree of mechanical pinch.

This pinch will naturally wear throughout an engines lifespan due to the friction of the piston and liner wearing against each other. This wear cannot be stopped, however by pre-heating an engine before starting, the metal components expand and loosens the tight pinch area at TDC causing less metal to metal contact and therefore less engine wear. Use when breaking in new engines and not only will

the procedure be quicker, but strain on the con rod is greatly reduced. Your engine is pre heated before a race which means you're using less fuel to bring the engine up to full race temperature.
