Back in June, we launched our UK-first Electric Mastic Boiler at the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival. 🛣️💡

Our live demonstration showcased the operational benefits it has to highway maintenance provisions for pothole, patch and defect repairs:

✓ Material made up of recycled-rubber tyres supporting circular economies
✓ Electric dual-battery system for low emissions and high productivity

Over the last few months, our people have been coming together as part of our efforts to raise funds for East Lancashire Hospice. 💜

For the second year in a row, we're taking part in their Corporate Challenge which tasks local businesses to raise as much funds as possible for the hospice. From a 12 mile charity pub walk to a darts tournament between departments, these events aren't only raising money, they are providing an opportunity for our people to come together and socialise - making fundraising fun! 🙌

With further fundraising events in the calendar, we're on track to beat our total for 2025!

The hospice provides vital care services across Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley and must raise over £4.5m each year, relying on the local community.

🧡 £7,655 raised for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone! 🧡

Back in July, we hosted a charity Footgolf Tournament, bringing together local football legends and local businesses for a light-hearted friendly competition, all for a great cause. ⚽⛳

The youth zone relies on its local Patron Network to keep their doors open 365 days a year across two sites, providing free membership, free entry, and a free hot meal for all. Between 1st May and 30th June 2026, they welcomed 18,454 visits from 2,826 young people, provided 9,912 free meals, and welcomed 674 new members through their doors, showcasing just how important their services are for our local young community.

If you’re a football fan, you may recognise some of the faces in our highlights video. From Premier League winners to Team Captains - Colin Hendry, Matt Derbyshire, Danny Collins and Mark Patterson, were all on the line up.

Yesterday we hosted a Charity Footgolf Tournament to raise funds for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone alongside some ex-professional footballers (we were in great hands)! ⛳⚽

The sun was shining and so was the energy of the day! We are extremely grateful to those who turned up and got stuck in. It was a day filled with laughter, team building, and sport, all for a fantastic cause that is close to our hearts. 🧡

Having been Gold Patrons of the youth zone since 2022, we were beaming with pride as we watched the day unfold, knowing that every penny that was raised goes towards providing services that make a positive difference to our local young community.

Today we’re at the final Highways Live - Sustainable & Resilient Highways event in sunny Birmingham. 🛣️

These regional events have been fantastically orchestrated by our industry friends at Highways Magazine and Road Surface Treatments Association.

At these events we’ve engaged with local authorities from up and down the Country, sharing ideas, forming solutions and tackling industry challenges together.

A focus on data, preventative maintenance, funding, and the different techniques that create better roads.

Following the success of the London and Scotland editions, we are looking forward to the day ahead. 🙌🏻

Last week we welcomed not one, not two, but three work experience students to immerse themselves into the world of Multevo! 🤩

The three students came to us from St Wilfrid's Church of England Academy, gaining insight into the different roles across Multevo.

🚛 Graeson spent time with our team of technicians at our Mercedes-Benz service centre, learning more about the specialist equipment we supply and maintain.
🌲 George had an interest in the tree maintenance services we deliver, getting a closer look at the equipment and techniques we use.
💡 Ellen got creative with our Marketing & Growth team, learning what goes on behind the scenes to promote what we do and who we are.

The group also visited Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone for a tour of their new premises in Darwen, and ended the week with a visit to the Royal Lancashire Show to learn more about one of the industries we work with.

Our diverse range of products and services means we have an array of career pathways available within our business. It was great to be able to showcase this to the next generation.
