A beautiful garden office installation beginning of the year.
Nice to work with inside out garden rooms again. There attention to detail is always on point.
LED lights installed in the steps rising to the decking area, LED downlights installed in the soffit controlled via a motion sensor. Inside the garden room, numerous sockets with twin USB points, recessed LED downlights etc were installed. A new submain supply was also installed from the house to the garden room, new consumer units installed, certification and notifications issued. Very happy clients

New Kitchen installation at a student let property in Exeter this time last year.
I installed a new kitchen ringmain, lighting circuit, hob and oven circuits to accommodate a new kitchen at this property. All the appliances were easily isolated via an accessible grid switch isolator, recessed LED down lights and LED unit light were also installed as the kitchen was quite a dark room. A 32 amp supply was installed to feed an induction hob, I also installed an additional 32 amp supply to the oven and although the oven is fused at 13amp the supply is there if a more powerful oven is installed in the future. A new consumer unit was installed to provide 30mA RCD protection and certification plus notification on all new works was issued.

Before and after photos of an awkward replacement consumer unit. The existing consumer unit had a kitchen built around it and although the kitchen installer had cut the kitchen unit around the consumer unit they didn't leave enough room to remove the consumer unit cover to gain access to work on circuits etc. After a lot of work I managed to remove the consumer unit, extend the circuits, make a false back, top and sides to the existing cupboard, upgrades to the supply conductors, Earthing conductor and protective Earth bonds to the oil and water pipes, replace the consumer and full test on all the circuits.
It was a right pain but worth it in the end. Very happy client

Not posted anything for a while, though I had better update you on some recent works that I have completed . This was a complete re wire and attic conversion which I completed last year. The property has had a complete overhaul including full underfloor heating on the ground floor, with radiator heating in the attic conversion. It has had a full rewire, USB sockets throughout, recessed LED down lights and a new AM3 consumer unit with surge protection installed. Lovely job to work on with a great team of builders and lovely clients.

Before and after photos of a recent kitchen rewire and consumer unit change at a property in Exeter. Once the old kitchen was removed I disconnected and made safe the existing wiring. I then installed a new Ringmain circuit, lighting circuit, cooker and hob circuits. The ceiling was counter battened so that LED down lights could be installed. Once the new ceiling had been put up and the walls and ceiling were plastered I completed second fix, replaced the consumer unit and carried out a full electrical test on the property. The works have really transformed this room from a tired and dark kitchen into something modern and stylish.

Garden room in Dawlish. I was asked to install electricity to a new garden room in Dawlish, the garden room was installed by Inside Out Garden Rooms Ltd who did an excellent job. New kitchen in Cullompton, I made alterations to the existing circuits adding additional sockets, repositioning the cooker and hob supply and installed new lights over the breakfast bar plus I installed new lighting under the wall units and low level lighting. This has really transformed the kitchen.

I was asked to carry out an Electrical installation condition report at an office in Exminster, the consumer unit had been replaced approximately 10 years ago by an "electrician" however no certificates were issued to the client after the work was completed. When I removed the consumer unit cover I was faced with this mess. Ringmain circuits weren't correctly paired which ment they had to be isolated by switching off 2 circuits, circuits were incorrectly protected i.e the circuit protective device was incorrect for the cable size, some cables were connected and live however were not in use and left above the ceilings in an unsafe manner plus due to the mess of the consumer unit wiring access to the main earthing terminal and neutral terminal was limited. I correctly paired the ringmain circuits, correctly fused the circuits and removed and isolated all the unused circuits prior to testing. The property in now in a satisfactory condition after I had corrected these and some other issues that were raised during the test. When having electrical work carried out please make sure that the electrician is qualified and has both knowledge and experience to undertake the required works, as a little knowledge is not often sufficient to ensure safety as proven in this example, this was an accident waiting to happen.

Job In Dawlish, Alterations in master bedroom en-suite, remove existing en-suite light and fan, I then had to drain off 2 and a half buckets of water out of the duct, the issue was caused by a blockage in the duct and an under powered fan. I unblocked the duct, installed a new more powerful centrifugal fan and extended the duct over the shower cubicle. After which i installed new LED down lights and patched and painted the ceiling. This has made a vast improvement to the lighting and ventilation of this room.
