Our station open day this year is on Saturday 29th August and will run between 10am and 3pm.

There will be plenty to see and do so come down and join in the fun.

Activities include:

🛟 Meet the crew
🛟 Look at our lifeboats
🛟 Visit the lifeboat shop
🛟 Meet other local emergency services
🛟 Wet sponge stocks
🛟 Welly throwing
🛟 Lots of other children's activities
🛟 Cake and refreshments stall

As a finale to the day at 2pm we will also be taking part in a live display with our boats and Dover and Ramsgate Lifeboats.

This customer was very lucky this week nothing major happened but the wireless thermostat receiver could have potentially caught fire and there were multiple leaks inside the boiler and most of the internal seals had perished. It also wasn’t fitted correctly to the manufacturer’s instructions.

This particular boiler was safely isolated and correctly labelled do not use and a replacement was quoted.
