Follow this chair’s recovery. On arrival nothing on top could be reused. However the foundations were great ! So took back to main upholstery structure and then applied a new top layer alongside a new feather / foam seat cushion . And I found some money and hotels stuffed down the sides….😂😘. The gorgeous leather supplied by . Now off to nurse my poor hands !

A challenging respray of these mixed chair sets that were badly stained from different fluids. My client’s chose a colour they wanted ; I had the colour made up and a complete cleaning and respray job . These take time but are so worth it, especially if the current upholstery is in good condition. We also made up four bespoke table cloths - this table is 3.3 metres long ! We are booked now for Christmas but can take on leather respray work in the new year , just contact us and we can start designing what colour your want your leather upholstery.

I do love some the pieces we get to work on. These lovely little Chinese reading chairs , currently used in a bedroom. We worked with the client to find a solution without damaging the wood and to reflect paintings and textures in the bedroom. Bespoke seat pads on ply using . We also turned the print round to reflect the carving in the wood. Happy Thursday!

We may be waving bye to second hand September, but these approaches are available all year round ! These are decent examples of how I have worked with clients to not just ‘make do and mend’ but to elevate their furniture by repairing and replacing where necessary; leaving many years of comfort to come. Not only does it save them money, it feels like new again ! Now we could all do with that can’t we. Throw me a challenge and we will work together to extend the life of your furniture !

Yes I am still here - July/ August has been crazy ! 🤪 Work, holidays and carnival …..and just about hanging in there with this heat! 😰. This is a recent project completed in July. Striped Velvet Fabric from Exquisite Fabrics, Cushions, Curtains & Blinds - lovely to work with! Those in the know , will know what a challenge it is deep buttoning with curvy furniture, thick velvet AND stripes ! Very happy with the outcome - as were my clients. Looking forward to some lovely pieces during August/ September .Now booking for October; so if you have a project in mind let’s talk and get the ball rolling ! Happy Sunday all!

Our work here is done ! A lovely reimagined finish to the classic ‘Robin Day’ sofa. These were built to last ! And be reupholstered! Originally designed in 1964 but bought back by Habitat in the 90’s. If you have one …… lucky you ! Very sought after these days! Anyhow , I digress …… our clients decided to move away from the leather sofa cushions and we have wrapped them in Main line flax - stunning and brings real warmth to the room. Thanks John and Deborah for bringing these to us - quality frames - for life!

Lovely to finish these two beautiful sofas. My client has had these for years - and loves the size, design and shape . We managed to complete the three seater at the workshop, the four seater however we did mainly at the clients house and the sofa is no longer able to come out of house without a lot of hassle ! The fabric, a dusty pink from sits beautifully on the sofa. If you have a sofa that can do with a facelift do get in touch , next sofa availability is late September …… Yes it really has gone sofa mad ! But we love it !
