Not the most exciting post,and photos don’t show everything clearly. But the ceilings have now been repapered where the old water damaged areas where and the original wallpaper that was left has now had several coats of white emulsion. As per the photos now it’s papered again you can’t really see what we have done apart from the new paper hasn’t been painted as yet. But on the plus side if you can’t notice our repair work, I guess that means we have done a good job. 😊

Well this a small job we’re doing today because it’s forecast rain. So we needed a little indoor job and this came along.
A poor tired hallway ceiling in need of some tlc. Several water leaks above the ceiling and you can just see how yellow it is against where we have painted. The client didn’t want costly repairs so rather strip everything off and re plastering. We have removed the loose wallpaper/ceiling paper, sized and sealed the bare plaster. I have perfectly matched the Anaglypta Wallpaper which we will install tomorrow. Once that’s done and dry we will fully repaint the ceiling again. It must be 20yrs since I have hung Anaglyta Wallpaper it’s just something you rarely come across, but it’s great for hiding a multitude of sins 😉🤔😀. The poor arms and shoulders are definitely feeling it today as we have taken the option of hand painting the ceilings, as they wouldn’t withstand a a paint roller.

Well that’s another job finished last week. A massive kitchen ceiling all joints have been re scrim taped and then back filled sanded and fully repainted again. It’s not everyday you have to scaffold a kitchen to reach the ceiling.

Wow what a stunning day! Spring is definitely well and truly here. We are working in the heart of the Suffolk countryside surrounded by beautiful fields and blossoms, Bluebells are looking amazing and blue skies overhead while we are working hard on this large external. A full repaint some new windows and sealed units and a spot of rendering!

WELCOME The first full exterior of 2026 started today. And what a beautiful sunny day today. So why not wrap up warm and get soaked whilst jet washing down an entire house and garage after treating all the old fungi and algae. I think our guy Dave was in his element, tbh it’s quite therapeutic watching all the old cobwebs and algae and dirt getting blasted away. See if you can spot the Welcome sign in the video s 🤔😂😂. Due to a few people cancelling we do still have one or two spots left for exterior work and decorating for 2026.
