I have just found out that some important emails are not getting through to my inbox. So far three customers have replied to my emails and I haven't received them, despite me receiving lots of other emails.

Last week's job comprised building a three-sleeper-high raised bed filled with high quality topsoil, plus laying a path to follow the contours of the front lawn. We also dug over a couple of borders ready for planting and also removed strips of lawn and planted a Pyracanthas hedge with the species having yellow, red, yellow and orange alternating berries throughout. It's going to look lovely in a few years.

Today we completed a rather complicated raised bed refurbishment. We had to dismantle four large raised beds, constructed from sleepers. After twenty years every sleeper had rotted, but the well-tended soil within those large beds was superb. It would be stupid to waste it, so we dug it all out and dumped it on two large tarpaulins on the lawn.
Next we rebuilt the four beds using pressure treated sleepers and put all the soil back in.
Then, to make access easier and to tidy up the area, we laid a 60cm wide slab path around the whole lot.
Needless the say, the customers were absolutely delighted with it all, and have already got the beds primed ready for this year's crop.

Our latest creation from a design supplied to us. The brief was to remove all block paving and lawn and create a larger, pea gravel parking area. We also laid a new lawn, and edged the lawn and gravel with black limestone cobbles pointed-up with matching black Easy Joint.
We always like to recycle as much as we can when it allows, so we used the old block pavers as hardcore and locked them all in place with crushed limestone underneath the gravel to prevent subsidence.
High quality turf and topsoil from Cambridge and Peterborough Turf. Limestone blocks from Primethorpe Paving and everything else from Branch Brothers Deeping. Thanks to you all, especially under these disgusting fuel costs. Much appreciated.

A small job we completed last week... replacing a short section of fence, then making the small back garden a lot more manageable for the customer.
We trimmed all shrubs and hedging, weeded and spread bark mulch over the borders, then removed the lawn, cemented in a curving border using block pavers, then put gravel where the lawn once was. And to finish off, we laid a stepping stone path to the rotary drier.

The second and final phase of a beautiful and total garden transformation completed today. We're extremely proud of this one.
We built the porcelain patio, the two steps and four paths, the wider one being inlaid with gravel. We also levelled the garden and laid new turf, we built the gazebo, the BBQ shelter, the composite screening and the potting shed plus we block-paved around all the raised beds that were there originally. Finally, the back fence was replaced with hassle-free Ash-coloured composite panels with composite trellis above. Rather than replace the concrete posts to raise the fence level, we were asked to use steel post extensions into which we fitted the trellis'.
All-in-all it really has become quite a show garden - the best we've ever created.
Turf and topsoil sourced and delivered by Cambridge and Peterborough Turf, porcelain from paving, and all other materials from Branch Brothers Deeping. A big thanks to the ladies and gents at all three companies.
