This job was completed September 2018. The photos are mainly before and after. We worked very closely with the client, to give the family a quality home to be proud of. Walls were removed, doorways cut, all new electrics (incl 3 inter-linked smoke alarms) and plumbing, acoustic plasterboard used throughout (walls and ceilings), with the exception of the wet areas, where moisture-board was used. All floors brought to level using a latex screed. All window reveals were taken back to brick, levelled and plumbed, all new window cills, skirting, architraves and doors throughout the property. Job just completed, the client previously had a walk in shower, toilet and basin vanity units and a massive towel rail. Also the window had been blocked up, there was no natural light.
We went back to brick, repared and levelled the water damaged floor, re-plumbed everything. Used moisture resistant plasterboard, tanked the wet areas, plastered all the other non tiled areas, including the ceiling. Window fitted. Inline, timer controlled fan installed with discreet cowel (low noise). Over a thousand crackle glaze subway tiles,some cut chamfered where the obtuse angle to the right of the basin all tiles sealed before grouting (and after), floor tiled in natural marble.

Asked to repair a billowing tiled wall after two previous builders had tried . Back to brick, Aquapanel boards around the bath area and an Ardex waterproofing treatment. Re-plastered walls. Thermostatic shower and freestanding bath installed.
Lesley and Paul, great clients, were so pleased they asked me update their kitchen too.

Removed two walls and doorways, cut a doorway for an access to the cloakroom, at the rear. Build a stud dividing wall, fully insulated. Plasterboard the walls and plastered. Install kitchen units, sink cupboards and an access panel for the electrics and radiator plumbing. New fire rated spotlights, skirting and architrave. In the cloakroom a toilet, basin, fire rated spotlights, skirting, architrave and a ceiling fan for ventilation.
