Derby Road between the QMC roundabout and Priory roundabout will be closed (away from the City) from Monday 9th January 2023 for approx. 12 weeks whilst gas works take place.
During this closure, buses will divert:
✅ Orange 35 and 36 to City will follow their normal route
❌ Orange 35 towards Bulwell will divert via Clifton Boulevard, University Boulevard and Woodside Road.
❌ Orange 36 towards Chilwell will divert via Clifton Boulevard and University Boulevard to resume normal route from Broadgate. Customers travelling from City, Derby Road or QMC to Woodside Road will need to use the diverted Orange 35. There will be no service from Woodside Road to Beeston or Chilwell.
Due to the nature of the diversion route and expected traffic levels, severe delays are expected throughout.
