This customer had polycarbonate sheets on the adjoining area between the garage and conservatory, and it was leaking badly.
The flat roofing team stripped and re boarded the area, covered it in EPDM Rubber, ensuring it was once again, water tight.

The team enjoyed this job over in North Elmham, prior to the heatwave!
Slate hooks used to reinstate the existing slates on this large gully renovation. The pitched and flat roofing teams were able to work together to bring this one over the finish line. Unfortunately this whole building was re-roofed only 12 years ago, the slate and lead work by the main contractor was executed flawlessly, however the flat roof gully was always destined to fail. The subcontractor at the time used a liquid system that was applied directly to the new roofing sheets, and an internal water management system was introduced that was unnecessary and ultimately lead to major leaks and issues. As well as the poor design of the flat roof, the loft space was also filled with insulation, which it was not equipped for, resulting in the deterioration of the flat roof sheets due to condensation, or, “sweating”. Our new fleece backed EPDM membrane has been installed with three aperture vents that provide air flow to the flat roof as well as the main loft space. Along with a ten year warranty the customer has peace of mind that there will be no further issues and we look forward to future projects that we have lined up with them.

Today was all about a fantastic little man and fundraising towards a specialist wheelchair for him to be able to get about more independently! And about the local tradesmen coming together to support this event, and allow them to enjoy a day away from work, on the lake, fishing 🎣

Jewsons (one of our Suppliers) and East Bilney Fishing Lakes put together a fundraising Fishing Match!

Little “M” was born weighing just 750g and spent 4 months in NICU, where he was diagnosed with Bilateral Cerebral Palsy. This specialist wheelchair will mean he will be able to manoeuvre and move around much easier, thus giving him more independence and comfort.

The team had previously carried out a re-roof on the extension at the back of this 1830’s cottage, so the next phase was to completely restore the roof of the porch and leave the interior vaulted.
New fascia boards, Brett Martin guttering and down pipes to create the traditional look, new lead flashing, and tiles to match the adjoining property, which bring the cottages back to how they would have originally looked in the 1830’s.
We look forward to working with this customer again in the future and the team have very much enjoyed both jobs so far!

⚡️ We have a planned Power Cut in our area this evening, so our WiFi will be down.
