We got a few messages from locals this evening about a large tree down near the Beech Hill Country House, completely blocking the road

Just after 11pm we headed out for a look and decided to get stuck in. No job booked, just a bit of goodwill to get the road opened again

An hour or so later and we’re glad to say the road is clear and passable again. Hopefully that’ll keep things moving smoothly in the morning and save a few people having an unexpected excuse for being late to work 😂

We’ve left the larger timber and cuttings safely along the verge and will make sure it’s reported for collection

Still take it handy on that road tomorrow and on any of the country roads around the town after a rough night, there could be smaller branches and debris about.

Nice to do our wee bit for the local area. Back home to bed now 🤣😴

Another big transformation! 🙌

Last week, our landscaping team tackled a long-overdue job for this client. Their old fence had seen better days so it was time for a much-needed refresh.

We started the removal and clear-out on Wednesday, and by Thursday evening the new fence was complete, with everything left clean and tidy.

With the grass-cutting season coming to an end soon, it’s the perfect time to get those other outdoor jobs ticked off the list.

What a transformation! 😲

Over the last few months we’ve carried out a range of work at Alan’s property, including conifer removals, stump grinding, new fencing and finally preparing the ground ready for a fresh new lawn.

A lot of people on here will remember how this all started — just me and a few of the lads pushing lawnmowers around estates, knocking doors and building up enough work to keep us busy.

Coming up to our 7th year established, the business has continued to grow, and we've got to this point by using casual labour whenever we needed extra help. That has played a big part in helping us get to where we are today.

We're now at the stage where the workload is consistent, and it's time to bring someone into the team on a full-time, steady basis.

We're a professional outdoor services company covering grass cutting, grounds maintenance, landscaping, tree work and general outdoor maintenance across the North West.

🌳 The role:

• Grounds maintenance across domestic and commercial sites
• Grass cutting, hedge maintenance and general landscape upkeep
• Assisting with landscaping, tree work and a variety of outdoor projects

✅ We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping (preferred, but not essential)
• Has a good work ethic and is willing to learn
• Holds a full, clean driving licence
• Is reliable, self-motivated and takes pride in their work
• Represents the business professionally with customers
• Is happy working outdoors in all weather

💷 Pay: £13–£15/hour depending on experience
🕐 Hours: Full-time, permanent
