Two very different memorials installed today at Kynaston Road Cemetery.

The first is a beautiful Crystal White granite memorial, finished with genuine gold leaf lettering and a bronze rose ornament. Crystal White is one of the most difficult granites to source and manufacture due to its natural characteristics, but with careful selection and planning we’ve been able to create a stunning, clean finish that will last for generations.

The second is a bespoke black granite children’s memorial, featuring hand-painted pink lettering and a personalised giraffe design. Every element was chosen by the family to create something as unique as the little girl it remembers.

Every memorial tells a different story. Our aim is always the same: to create something that is beautifully crafted, personal, and built to stand the test of time.

Today we took delivery of some beautiful natural granite, ready for fabrication into some kitchen worktops.
Check out this titanium black granite, with its gorgeous veining and marbling.

Another job completed today by us at Set in Stone Didcot Ltd.

People often think we only do headstones, but we also make bespoke memorial benches, seating areas, plaques, restorations, and completely custom stonework.

This granite memorial bench was made and engraved in our own workshop, creating a lasting place for family and friends to sit, reflect, and remember someone special. Simple, solid, and built to last for generations.

This week we completed this stunning peninsula in Silestone Gris Expo, featuring a full waterfall edge flowing seamlessly to the floor.

We also produced additional upstands, milled down to 20mm to perfectly match the existing installation and maintain the original design throughout the kitchen.

The new addition was designed to blend in with the worktops originally supplied with the house from new, giving a clean factory-finished look as though it had always been there. #🔥🔥🔥
