Not all customers want 360 coverage. This customer from a while back just wanted 1 camera to cover what mattered to them most, their campervan 🏕️🚐 we changed a single to a double socket to make way for a power line adapter. To send the internet wirelessly up to the recorder. No need to get cables all through their home that way! All handed over with notifications to the customers app fully tested.

Ripped out this monstrosity this week. What looked like a nice easy swap of the old Visonic alarm panel for a enforcer. Turned into a host of electrical issues to sort out first. The previous local “accredited” company had decided not to use the spur adjacent, but instead terminate a 0.5mm twin into the back of a socket on a 32A ring. I removed the issues, broke into the ring for my new non switched spur and safely stepped down to the alarm panel with a 3A fuse. Looks a bit better too. The app went down a treat with the customer ! What is the scariest f*ck-up you have seen on a new install?

Part of a recent installation near . The cameras chosen have white light imagery (ColorVu) at night so they stay in colour. This site has lots of dark corners and hiding places, so to help the cameras and add deterrent values, we added 6 floodlights which illumination activation of tripwires/intrusion detection on the cctv. Whilst we would have loved these lights on all night, the client wanted to keep disruption the their neighbours to a minimum. We used timer relays, a set trigger from the alarm and a photocell to ensure this only came on when needed. Thanks to .ltd as always
