Hand cutting more firewood for next seasons stock, with the help of 💪

Victoria has been extracting the timber ready for the trucks to collect🪵🚜

Back at the yard George has been processing next season’s firewood and restocking empty sheds 🪚🪵

Finally the trucks bringing in our timber 🪵🚚 including myself putting in a shift helping out J Medler & D A Garnham💪

It’s been 11 years since I first had the dream of starting my own firewood business so I thought I’d share with you some highlights along the way.

It’s quite amazing how a small idea and a little bit of passion can turn into the business that I have built over the last 10 or so years and this is something I will always be proud of.

I am lucky to have had help and support from my family and friends, loyal customers and of course my partner Victoria who has helped expand the business this last year, from day to day deliveries to behind the scenes structure and promotion of the business.

As 2025 draws to an end, we wanted to take a moment to personally thank you all for your support this year. It has been a brilliant year and we know it wouldn’t be possible without our loyal and new customers. Your support keeps our small business growing and our community warm! 🌲🔥🪵

All our timber has been locally sourced from woodlands within 30 miles and is naturally seasoned, ensuring our firewood is as sustainable as possible 🌳

60m3 split and stacked for a client - arm aching to say the least! 💪🪵

We recently completed a log processing job for a client which included several different heaps of timber from their previous tree work.

With a mixture of long oversize lengths that we used our timber processor to cut and split, to smaller arb waste that we tackled with a log splitter, as well as some super oversize rings that we split down using our log splitting attachment on the digger.

This was all transported to the barn and stacked by hand over several days - approximately 60m3 of firewood in total!

It’s been a hugely rewarding transformation to see what some old lumps of wood scattered all over the property can then turn into - a satisfying log stack that will bring comfort and warmth for many years ahead🪵🔥

We have the tools for most log splitting/processing requirements so please get in touch if you have anything we can assist with🚜🪵
