When the owners of this kitchen began their renovation project, the original space was dark and cramped.

They loved their home’s character and its south-facing garden but something needed to change.

The result was to merge the original kitchen and separate snug into one room, creating a larger open-plan area for family dining and entertaining.

The Rosedale design in Sage gave them the classic and timeless look they wanted with distinctive detailing and a beautiful painted finish. Bi-fold dressers, oak cutlery organisers and oak tray storage all enhance the scheme.

Finally got around to sharing a recent project completed at my own home a stunning 27-unit Linear avant kitchen.

The design features black rails pebble and charcoal doors, beautifully complemented by wood-accent bridging units for added warmth and contrast. The kitchen is finished with Cosentino Stone worktops, matt black AEG appliances, Warmup underfloor heating, and three striking column radiators.

A standout detail throughout the kitchen is the use of matching worktop material for all end panels, expertly mitred for a seamless, high-end finish. The island includes a double waterfall edge, creating a fantastic dining and social area, complete with surrounding window seating.

The feature glass display unit adds another luxurious focal point, with Sensio lighting fitted to the rails, plinths, and under wall units. The lighting can all be controlled from a smartphone, allowing the tones to be changed from warm to cool, with full brightness control available to create the perfect atmosphere at any time of day.

The cooker hood features a built-in 40-inch TV, while also monitoring air conditions and automatically purifying the air without needing manual control. All appliances throughout the kitchen are smart-enabled and fully connected to my iPhone for seamless everyday use. The Warmup underfloor heating system is also app-controlled, paired with the latest digital display panel for effortless temperature management from anywhere.

The flooring chosen was Calcutta marble 60x60 floor tiles and Aged Oak Bloom LVT flooring, adding warmth and character while complementing the overall contemporary design perfectly. All the Kesseböhmer pull-out storage solutions also make everyday life that bit easier, adding both practicality and premium functionality throughout the kitchen.

To complement the matt black appliances and rail system, matt black sockets were installed throughout, including integrated USB-C charging sockets to keep the space both modern and functional.

To complete the transformation, new windows and doors were installed, while the Franke boiling tap and Franke undermount sink add both style and practicality to the space.

Our Fern Green finish is really versatile, complementing all kinds of colours, textures and materials. Pair with wooden flooring in a herringbone or basketweave pattern to enhance the traditional look along with exposed brick walls and solid timber worksurfaces for a country cottage style.

Finish with a white ceramic butler sink, ideal for washing large pots, pans and baking trays, and a peg rail for hanging mugs and tea towels.
