Our painted fire doors are consistently recognised for their smooth, high-quality finish. Every fire door is produced using our refined four-stage painting process, premium paints and the expertise of our skilled paint shop team.

From sanding to priming, denibbing and final coating, every stage is completed with precision and care. This attention to detail ensures a consistent, flawless finish across every fire door that leaves our factory.

Painting is also an important part of our commitment to responsible manufacturing. We offer an extensive range of RAL and BS colours, with 90% of the paints we use being water-based. This helps reduce the use of harsh chemicals while maintaining the premium finish our customers expect.

Is fire door compliance truly being enforced in social housing? 63% of front entrance doors do not meet the FD30 standard.🚪

Our white paper project revealed the concerning reality. Third-party approved FD30 doors in multi-occupational residential buildings became the explicit standard in the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 and the introduction of Approved Document B, outlining the requirements for fire doors going forward.

Despite three years having passed since these changes, remediation and replacement efforts remain slow on a national level. While well-intentioned, current legislation has not achieved the widespread compliance necessary to protect residents from fire crises, leaving thousands at risk across the country.

Our white paper, ‘A Burning Truth: The Reality of Fire Door Safety in Social Housing’ delves deeper into the data collected from 176 local authorities who responded to our Freedom of Information requests.
