Are you sick of seeing your grass yellow and brown instead of a lush green lawn?
There's many things you can do yourself to prevent this heat killing your grass off.
- Water your grass early morning or later at night, DO NOT do this during the day when temperatures are at their highest it will cause more damage than good.
- You can also use a fork do use to put small holes into the soil before watering your lawn, this HELPS the water pe*****te the compacted soil and lets the water reach the roots of the grass helping it grow.
- If your lawn has died to the extent that you have bare patches in your lawn you can clear away any debris from the area loosen the soil and apply Drought-Tolerant Seed and top with a thin layer of top soil. Your newly seeded area must be kept consistently moist for 1-2 weeks until the growth begins.
