Another lovely garden transformation in Armthorpe! 🥰

We love a good before and after, and this one is no exception!

The old garden was lifted and given a complete new lease of life, with beautiful Egyptian Sandstone paving from RF Paving, creating a stunning new patio area.

Our customer also needed disabled access, so we made sure the new layout was practical and accessible, while incorporating raised flower beds and turf to create a garden that's easy to enjoy without all the upkeep.

The finished result is a lovely combination of practicality and style, giving our customer a beautiful outdoor space to relax and enjoy.

A huge thank you to our amazing customer Stacy and her sister Jess. ❤️

We really do appreciate your patience throughout the job, and we're equally grateful for all the laughs and giggles along the way! It's been an absolute pleasure working for you both.

We think the finished garden looks amazing, and we hope you love it as much as we do! ❤️❤️

Thinking about giving your garden a new lease of life?

🔥 When a fireplace becomes a work of art! 🔥

So, Dave, who we all know is amazing at creating beautiful outdoor spaces, was chatting to a friend who wanted something a little special as a feature in his front room.

Ideas were thrown around, inspiration struck, and Dave and obviously Betty were given free rein to create what was set to be a work of art!

We think he absolutely smashed it, and his friend was equally as impressed! 😍🔥

Every flag was expertly cut and carefully fitted to bring this unique design to life, with a log store built into the left-hand side to keep everything practical as well as looking amazing.

And it doesn't stop there! A light has also been fitted to create that stunning effect even during the summer months, when the fire isn't lit. A real feature to enjoy all year round! ✨

There were a few discussions about the colour of the grout. The customer's taste leaned more towards a darker, simpler finish, but given the choice, Dave would have gone for orange to really bring that lava effect to life! 🌋🌋

Maybe something a little bit more extravagant on the next one, Dave... 😉

But that's not where the story ends!

While fitting the flue, Dave spotted some weathering and loose bricks on the chimney. Naturally, the customer asked the question... "Do you know anyone who can rebuild chimneys?"

Well, would you believe it? In a past life, Dave was a roofer! 😂

So, up he went onto the scaffolding, and what followed was yet another impressive bit of work! 🧱🔨

One minute he's creating a feature fireplace, the next he's rebuilding chimneys! Is there anything this man can't turn his hand to? 😂👏

We'll share the chimney pictures tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

We love working in a job where we never quite know what we're going to get up to next! 💚

JOB NUMBER 28 ON WILLOW GLEN!

28 jobs in ONE street! 🤯👏 Now that's something to be proud of!

This time, we're transforming a driveway that's looking a little tired, old and dated. It's also dropped in places and simply isn't doing the property justice anymore.

So, up with the old blocks!

We'll be digging down, carrying out all the necessary groundworks and preparing a brand-new driveway, complete with drainage to help protect the property from water damage and the good old Yorkshire weather 🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️

Another transformation underway, and we can't wait to show you the finished result!

❤️ 28 jobs in one street really does say something about the quality of Dave's workmanship!

We genuinely appreciate every single one of our customers. We're so grateful for all the recommendations, the repeat customers who come back to us time and time again, and the trust you put in us to transform your outdoor spaces.

There's no better compliment than customers recommending us to their friends, family and neighbours, and we're incredibly lucky to have so many of you supporting our business. ❤️❤️❤️

And it's not just gardens, patios and driveways Dave has been working on lately!
🔥

He's taken on some indoor work, too, and later we'll be sharing what might just be one of the most amazing fireplaces you've ever seen! 🔥😍 Keep your eyes peeled for that one!

WE’RE BACK, AND GOT STRAIGHT BACK TO WORK!

The team has been a little quiet lately after taking a well-deserved break away! 🇱🇹🪂

But don’t worry, we’re back, refreshed, and straight back into Daves favourite hobby, work!

Before we headed off, we completed the final phase of our Finningley project. Our lovely customer wanted to add her own finishing touches before we show you the finished result, and we can’t wait to see what she does with it!
Keep your eyes peeled, as we’ll be sharing an update on the 5 completed phases , and obviously the Finningley peacocks soon. 🦚🦚

BUT… The break clearly worked wonders for Dave!

As soon as we arrived home, he was straight onto this job in Hatfield, and just look at the transformation! 😍 We can hardly believe it’s the same area, and neither could our customer Mark, who admitted he’d always thought the decking was brown! 🤣🤣

Dave and the team have done an absolutely fantastic job bringing this area back to life. They even managed to dodge the rain for a little while… although, being in Yorkshire, we couldn’t escape it completely!

And, of course, our quirky little company mascot, Betty, was there supervising the whole operation! 🐾 Someone has to keep Dave and his lads in check to make sure nobody was slacking off.
She takes her job VERY seriously, unless of course they are slacking off and playing with her.

A huge well done to Dave and the team for another fantastic transformation.

📍 Based in Yorkshire and covering all the surrounding areas.

AND THEN… because there’s no rest for the wicked! 😂❤️

We squeezed in a cheeky little roofing job back in Branton — and what a location!

This job backed straight onto Yorkshire Wildlife Park, so while we were working we could hear the animals, and because it turned into a late one, we were treated to the most stunning sunset from the roof. 🦁

But enough about the view… here’s what we actually did! 👇

Removed the old coping stones
Thoroughly cleaned and prepared the surfaces
Dressed the coping stones ready to be relaid
Re-fitted them using a slurry primer
Properly relaid and sealed everything to prevent any more leaks for Tony and Jean

Another job done, another happy customer — and hopefully no more leaks!

Dave has years of experience across all aspects of building work and is more than happy to quote for roofing, brickwork, walling and general building jobs, as well as our usual landscaping and paving work.

So… maybe a little rebrand could be on the cards…

🎉🎉 What a busy, but amazing weekend. 🎊🎊

Job number 27 in Willow Glen, and this one certainly gave us a decent fully body workout. 💪💪

First up was an old shed to break down and dispose of. Now, this wasn’t just any old shed… Sue’s dad built it 63 YEARS AGO, and boy, did it show! 😂 It took some serious doing to get it down.

They simply don’t make things like they used to!

Once we’d cleared everything, we dug out the old base, brought in the hardcore and laid 60 x 60 concrete flags, getting everything ready for the new shed being delivered at the end of the month.

Dave even had a little dizzy moment on the whacker! 😂 Don’t worry though, I guided him back onto the straight and narrow and we cracked on.

Then it was off to a cheeky little roofing job… but you’ll have to wait for the pictures for that one! 👀

We’re always happy to take on the bigger landscaping projects, but sometimes it’s nice to get stuck into a good old-fashioned day job — whether that’s groundworks, preparation, shed bases, clearances, tree removal, fencing, patios or those smaller jobs that help bring your bigger projects together.

So, if you’ve got a job you’d like us to take a look at, get in touch for a FREE, no-obligation quote. We’d love to see what we can do to help make your outdoor plans a reality. 🏡💪
