Complete garden re-design and build for a lovely client in Bridport.
Taking the clients brief and creating a larger, and more usable patio area.
Excavating the original raised bed and retaining it with Oak sleepers.
This provided an additional 12 square metres of seating, plus a new path was installed.
The paving used is Harvest Sandstone, supplied by Talasey Classic Stone.

This is the ideal time to prepare the garden for Winter and get a head start on Spring.

SOFT LANDSCAPING
General Maintenance & Protection. Clear Leaves. Check Timber Structures for any damage. Protect Tender Plants. Insulate Taps and Pipes. Tidy Up Borders, Hedges and Trees. Prune & Harvest Fruit Trees. Cut back bush roses by one-third to one-half to prevent ‘wind rock’.

HARD LANDSCAPING
Lay Patios, Paths and Driveways. Build Walls and Raised Beds. Install Fencing and Install Decking. Repair hard landscaping areas damaged by summer use. Install or improve drainage systems. Clear and Clean hard surfaces.

PLANNING AHEAD
Winter is an excellent time for planning and designing your garden, taking advantage of greater availability with contractors and getting everything ready to go, for when Spring arrives.

Making good use of a neglected corner of the garden, for our customer.
The area was first cleared out, before a hardcore base was laid. Once the groundwork was finished, a new seating area was laid, which incorporated a purpose built firepit, using reclaimed bricks. The internal section of the firepit was lined with protective clay firebricks 🙂👍
