Today's adventure ! New hardwood sill and new hardwood door fitted to garage as old one was wrotten and full of woodworm. Hung on 3 x 4 inch hinges new take fitted and new sash lock installed. And oiled wuth osmo wood oil to preserve :) unfortunately couldn't get hold of a hardwood weather bar so temporarily fitted oak until in stock as weather has been terrible recently ! So this will also be hardwood and oiled at some point.

Little job today before the rain started pooring. area of fencing replaced due to being blown down with high wind. Replaced with feather edge cantilever rails and new post and cap. Another hapoy customer :) please contact me for any quotes. And happy Monday :)

Another one sorted for a returning customer in Weymouth 7 doors replaced with dordogne smooth doors beautiful satin rose handles and all doors had to be cut in and new hinges installed as we're all originally fitted on flush hinges. Good morning wonderful people of the world ! Today is a big day for us as we have completed are largest job yet since re opening the business. The job has been completed to brilliant standard with over skim on all the ceilings throughout,complete kitchen re plaster and bathroom re plaster new coving throughout hallway,living room and bedrooms with fully decorated ceilings and cove, new howdens fitted kitchen, howdens light oak effect vinyl laminate quickstep flooring throughout kitchen hallway, hallway cupboard and bathroom with no thresholds flowing floor, new doors throughout. We have completed all these works in under a month to the highest standard between two of us. New bathroom was installed by elfords as they had already quoted to do so otherwise we would of completed this as well. Also the property has now had gas fitted and connected allowing a combination boiler to be installed with central heating and all new electrics installed aswell. So all in all within a month and a half including other trades it has been fully re furbished. The customer is going to wallpaper throughout all the walls in all rooms hence why not much work has been done on the walls in the property. We also had to contend with the fact that the customer had sold there existing property and were going to be moving in 22 days in to our work so for the last week we had to work around the customer moving in which wasn't ideal for us obviously but we managed to work with each other to make sure all works mentioned in the original quote were completed including extras such as fireplace removal and block up, new doors and shelving for cupboard in hallway, latexing of floors before fitting of vinyl laminate which wasn't looked to be needed originally along side a few other bits as well that needed to be adjusted along the way to ensure ut was completed to the best standard possible. So without hesitation here is the final complete project. Our customer was absolutely over the moon with what we have archived for them to make this there forever home. And when they have had there new conservatory and decoration completed I have been welcomed to come back and get some finished pictures but for now here is what we have created :) thank you for taking the time to look! As many of you may be aware we have been working on a large refurbishment job in Dorchester over the last couple of weeks and to say our progress hasn't been brilliant in the time we have been there would be an understatement. We have absolutely smashed it so far and to a fantastic standard. Customer is so pleased with the work and effort we have put in it's ridiculous! So I have a few pictures so far but to give you an idea of the works from start to finish we have.

Plastered all ceilings throughout the property
Plastered entirety of kitchen area for fitment of new kitchen
Plastered entire bathroom built up and hardwalled damaged areas to create new clean lines throughout and reveals etc
Removed and plastered old fireplace
Fitted majority of kitchen so far
Hardwalled all chases to give flat walls ready for decoration and wall papering

Elfords have fitted new bathroom ! As they had already quoted for this and new heating system

Jobs still to be completed
Mis coating and finish decoration of all Plastered areas
Finish kitchen
Latexing of floors throughout kitchen hallway and bathroom
Plaster hallway ceiling
Fit new doors throughout 🚪
Lay new vinyl laminate throughout hall kitchen and bathroom

Between the two of us I gave an estimation of 1 month to complete these works and started works on the 1st of September and were easily halfway if not 3 quarter of the way through today being the 10th so well ahead of schedule.

One completed today for a lovely customer in Weymouth! Removed the old laminate floor as it was worn and separated in places. There is also a change in depth between the two floors that was originally laid as a complete floor between the two rooms. This is always a good options if floors are level but in this case they were not and therefore we opted to separate with a threshold which has made the world of difference. Customer extremely satisfied with the end finish. Another awesome job completed today for a local customer in Dorchester old bathroom was fully removed and we have completely refurbished the bathroom including new plasterboarding with plaster coat new shower tray cubicle etc new wash basin and lower unit boxed in all pipework new toilet and new skirts and architraves and new vinyl flooring. All that remains is for electrician to fit new mirror cupboard with light and new extractor fan. Customer is absolutely over the moon with the transformation. Another good one completed today in Poole for a very patient customer who has waited sometime for me to be free to do this for her and she is over the moon with it. Originally outdated council house stair rails have now been replaced top to bottom with new spindle and rails and a new mopstick hand rail fitted to aid in climbing the stairs. After a brief weekend break to London we've been back at it again today another job done for another amazing customer. Large ceiling area plastered due to the original plaster curve failing we have repaired the damaged areas and newly coated the entire ceiling. Another one down ! Nice job to overtile in kitchen are large splashback original tiles were old and dated so customer wondered if without causing to much disruption if it would be possible to overtile. the original tiles were flat and had rough facings so perfect to be treated and tiled on top of all solid to the wall so no reason to rip out as they are going going keep the kitchen for a long period of time.
