The Bus Shelter Dorset 📍

We’ve recently completed works for The Bus Shelter Dorset, installing new steps, seating, and lighting to create a safer, more accessible space for their team and the people they support.
It’s been a privilege to help a charity that provides vital support to those experiencing homelessness in our community. Their dedication to giving people stability, dignity, and a fresh start is something we’re proud to stand behind.

A huge thank you to London Metric Property PLC (LMP) for funding this project, which was undertaken by Mildren Construction.

We’re proud to share that our Langstone site has been recognised with a Bronze Award at the National Site Awards 2026.
A huge well done to Nicki Main, Daniel Rose and Scott Williamson, who attended the ceremony on Monday to accept the award on behalf of the team.
This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication and high standards delivered throughout the project – Congratulations to all who have contributed, we couldn’t have done it without you!

Proud to share that Mildren Construction has recently supported the preparatory groundworks for the new Instrument Landing System (ILS) at Bournemouth Airport. ✈️

Groundworks for the new Glidepath Tower, included concrete bases, electrical ducting and lightning protection.

The helicopter simulator is now being installed as part of AMST Phase 2 for Bristow Helicopter's new Search & Rescue Training Centre. 🔧✨

This latest phase includes the integration of a crane‑mounted helicopter hoist system, designed to accommodate a full‑size helicopter chassis for advanced rescue training scenarios. 🛟🚨

Well done to the project team - this marks another major step forward for what is set to become a state‑of‑the‑art training facility for future search and rescue operations. 🌟

🌿 Supporting Local Schools & Outdoor Learning in Waterlooville 🌿

Mildren Construction is proud to support Horndean Infant School with the donation of some bark chippings, along with the labour needed to install a brand‑new footpath leading to their Forest School area.

This outdoor learning space is an important part of the school’s environment, giving children the chance to explore, discover, and learn in nature.

A small contribution that we hope will make a big difference. 💚

Mildren Construction is currently on site delivering new retail units for Hargreaves, including an Aldi UK store, a KFC drive through, and a Costa Coffee outlet. We are pleased to contribute positively to the communities in which we operate, supporting local initiatives alongside our project delivery.
