From site clearance to final fibre finish — we’ve delivered a premium equestrian riding arena and storage yard built to last. Over 3,000 tonnes of earth moved, advanced drainage installed, and a performance-ready sand and fibre surface created for horse and rider safety. Proud to see this project come

Construction of Equestrian Riding Arena (55m x 30m) and Car Park/Storage Yard
Scope of Works
- Site Clearance & Topsoil Removal
- Stripped and removed topsoil across the full project area.
- Recycled existing field rock to form the base layer for both the arena and new yard.
- Removed the old arena and felled selected trees to extend the site into the adjoining field.
- Earthworks & Ground Preparation cut and fill
- Relocated and compacted approximately 3,000 tonnes of earth to achieve required gradients. Retaining all material on site to improve low-lying, wet areas.
- Ensured a level, stable, and fully compacted surface ready for construction.
- Drainage Installation
- Formed a site-wide drainage fall to prevent water pooling.
- Installed a herringbone drainage system, connected to a newly constructed soakaway.
- Perimeter & Services Preparation
- Prepared paddock perimeter for edging boards and hedging soil.
- Installed underground electrical cabling around the arena for future lighting.
- Arena Base Construction
- Imported and compacted 1,000 tonnes of aggregate to form the arena base.
- Imported 500 tonnes of equestrian-grade sand.
- Rotavated fibre into the sand surface to enhance safety, stability, and performance for both horse and rider. Supplied by Keeway Equestrian
- Final Works
- Levelled surrounding soil and prepared for reseeding.
- Completed blinding and levelling of the new car park and storage yard.
