Our client for this job was finding there kitchen very cold, they decided to strip it all out. We then insulated all the walls and ceiling with thermal insulation board, plaster boarding it all again and re installing new kitchen adding more cupboard space and an easier accessed oven.

for this job we-

-stripped out the old kitchen and walls
-framed and insulated the walls and ceilings
-re plasterboarded the whole room
-levelled and plywood the floor
-installed new kitchen

Now this was a big media wall to do! Our client wanted it to accommodate a large tv and fire with some shelving on the side and to finish off the room new skirtings and paneling all round the living room. Turning out fantastic if we say so ourselves!

After a very busy year I thought it's time I better update the page! over the next few days I shall update on some of the fantastic projects we have been up to. Like anything you see please get in touch for a Quote.

First up was this custom build under stairs unit, our client did not have enough storage in there house and decided to use up this free space under there stairs to add lots of storage.
in this project we:

-built custom plywood cupboards in our workshop
-installed and filled round cupboards filling up the gaps with pdf
-shelved the cupboards to customer requirements
- made custom pdf doors to fit cupboards and installed them

After a paint we think they turned out excellent!

After doing some work for this client warming the rest of there house they tackled the bathroom next. We stripped out the old bathroom, insulated the external walls and then panelled and wet walled the rest all to the clients specifications.

The clients in this job were feeling it rather cold in the end of there house and decided it was time to do something about it while also changing the layout to suit them. After some discussions we decided to remove there en-suite which was in the middle of the room and move it into the old dressing room and knocked through into there garage to allow for a new dressing room and making a lot more space in the bedroom.
In this job we-
re-framed all outside walls and insulated them
new internal walls
all new plasterboard
built new dressing room
all new doors
installed steel beam
all new skirtings, cills and facings
wet walled bathroom
all other finishings

This job was completed before Christmas and thankfully the weather was good to us. This beautiful old porch needed some attention with a lot of the lower woodwork needing replaced as it was starting to rot. The client wanted everything repaired to as it was before, they got some new spindles run from a local wood turner and asked us to repair and replace the rest. We cut out and replaced all rotten wood with hardwood, replicating what came out. all machined and made on site by us and will hopefully last them another 100 years.

Being flooded inn and not managing to get to any jobs today gives us a chance to update on some jobs we have been doing. it was a very busy end to the year and an even busier start so if you have any jobs you are planning this year and would like a quote, give us a call and we can see how we can help.

`First up was an old cupboard a client wanted re configured and better access too. we removed the old doors, opened up the cupboard for height to allow better access, new shelving to the clients request then new tall shaker sliding doors to finish it off.

Feeling the cold?

That’s what this client was feeling last winter and asked us in to see what can be done to help warm this old house. After finding out there was no insulation or minimal in the walls, we recommended using thermal plasterboard which just went on top of the old plasterboard, minimising the mess and expense of stripping out the old plasterboard. All finished with new facings, skirtings and oak doors.
