Another one recently completed by the team at JC Roofing.

This new extension has been fully slated to tie in seamlessly with the existing roof and this one wasn’t just a case of laying slates straight out the crate.

Most of the slate was hand cut on site to replicate the original detailing, including the diamond patterning and fish tail finish.

It’s the kind of work that takes time, patience, and a proper eye for detail but when it all comes together, it speaks for itself.

Blending new into old isn’t luck… it’s craftsmanship.

1 Time-Served Roofer (Tradesman)
Or
1 Potential Apprentice (with the right attitude)

For Tradesmen:
We’re looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and is genuinely passionate about the trade. Experience in slating, tiling and all aspects of roofing is essential.

For Apprentices:
This isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity. We’re looking for someone willing to earn the right to an apprenticeship through hard work, reliability, and the right mindset. Must be physically fit and able to work at heights.
