Delivering foundations in a live city centre environment comes with a very different set of pressures.

Restricted access, active pedestrian routes, existing concrete works that could not be disturbed, and buried obstructions below ground all shaped this project at the University of Portsmouth.

RADIX installed 42 screw piles and supporting steel beams for modular buildings, using a low-impact approach suited to confined urban conditions and tight programme requirements.

A good example of where screw pile foundations offer more than speed alone, helping solve access, disruption and constructability challenges in difficult environments.

From supplier QA in China to live project activity in Hungary and Italy, the RADIX team has been on the ground across multiple international locations in recent weeks.

As infrastructure supply chains and energy projects continue to operate on a global scale, maintaining visibility across manufacturing, testing and delivery is more important than ever. These visits support everything from product quality assurance and factory oversight through to project coordination, site testing and delivery confidence.

The photos capture a few moments from the trips, but the purpose behind them remains consistent: maintaining standards, strengthening partnerships and staying closely connected to the realities of live projects.

At RADIX, it’s all part of engineering confidence from specification to delivery.

2023 vs 2026 👀

Same warehouse. Very different story.

Three years ago, RADIX stock levels looked a little… lighter. Fast forward to today and the warehouse is packed to the rafters with 50,000+ products supporting projects across the UK and beyond.

A lot can happen in three years.

New product ranges. New machinery. Renewable energy projects. International partnerships. Major BESS and solar schemes. Bigger capabilities. Bigger team. Bigger ambitions.

From ground screws and screw piles to helical piles, load testing equipment and installation machinery, RADIX has continued investing in stock, manufacturing and infrastructure to keep pace with demand at scale.
