Following the call from The NHS locally for companies to make available any surplus protective clothing etc., we have done our bit by committing to provide some surplus protective suits, disposable respiratory masks and safety glasses to Ninewells Hospital. These are in the process of being conveyed to the central collection point by our Production Director.

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on 23rd March that travel to work for non essential employees should stop with immediate effect we have closed our factory and ceased all company operations for the advised period. There will be no production or deliveries through that time. We will continue to update our websites and social media as further government announcements are released. Wishing you all the best at this difficult time.

Despite the weather it’s been a great day at Sidey. We hosted a training event for Police Scotland, involving our supplier Ravensby Glass covering everything from types of glass, security in glazing, Secured by Design manufacturing to fully manufactured windows and doors at our factories in Perth. Thanks to Ravensby Glass and Sidey’s Accreditation & HSQE manager Robert Fitzpatrick. Pictures of the day to follow tomorrow. Tulliallan Police College

On Friday 25th October Ravensby Glass had a fundraising day to raise money for the Dementia Dog Project which combines professional expertise to pilot and develop new services for people living with dementia. We successfully managed to raise an outstanding £637.44. Well Done to everyone who took part. 🎂😀🐶

We have a vacancy available for a Class 1 LGV driver!

Deliveries will be a combination of multi drop throughout Scotland on a dayshift basis Monday to Friday and some overnight deliveries in sleeper cabs to sites throughout England and Wales.

A degree of hand lifting of glass will be required and Moffet Forklift Certification would be an advantage. However training may be offered to suitable candidate to attain certification.

Hourly rate with enhanced overtime payment for beyond 40 hours per week.
